Warner E. Roberts is the president of Sanametrix, Inc., As President, Mr. Roberts works to fulfill the firm’s vision of being the recognized leader in federal Office of Inspector General solutions. He also works hand-in-hand with the Inspector General offices to help them identify and achieve their short and long-term strategic goals. In addition to his responsibilities as president, Mr. Roberts provides leadership for the NCI Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General (HUD OIG) infrastructure support contract. In this role he is responsible for establishing a customized Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is focused on providing the necessary program based standards to achieve a repeatable process structure to ensure consistent program success.
Mr. Roberts also has extensive experience in the management of government budgets. He is the former Deputy Program Manager for NCI (Washington, D.C.) where he managed an eight year, $54 million government contract budget with HUD OIG. During his tenure, he was also responsible for creating, presenting and tracking the organization’s $9 million annual budget.
Before joining Sanametrix, Inc. in 2010 Mr. Roberts was a senior consultant and program manager for Definitive Business Solutions (Reston, VA) where he managed contract engagements and was also responsible for business development. He led a team of consultants which provided IT infrastructure expertise and guidance in support of the Department of Education’s main IT infrastructure support contract (EDUCATE). His primary client for the Department of Education was the Office of Inspector General (OIG). In addition to daily operations support, he was the main point of contact for the contractor PMO team where he fulfilled vital OIG special requirements on key projects such as technology refresh, data center move and WAN performance enhancement. Mr. Roberts’ thorough understanding of the OIG’s business needs and his ability to apply IT solutions to business practices earned him a letter of recognition from the previous acting Inspector General.
Mr. Roberts graduated from James Madison University and holds two degrees, a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Political Science. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute and has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since June 2005. He is married with two children and resides in Northern Virginia. When he is not working he enjoys spending quality time with his family and is an active leader in his church.
